I have no idea about this one, it didn't show anything. But still... this was a horrible show of them trying to churn out as many convoluted piles of junk as they could and call them Silent Hill. Yeah, seeing these screen shots just confirm what I felt already. I'm not impressed at all. Look at the 2nd screen shot with James from the back striking that monster with the wooden club. His Jacket doesn't fold, he looks like a square... A keen eye can see things like that and know that artistically the developers just don't have it. Notice how in a quality remake like Resident Evil 2, they modernized the outfits of Leon and Claire while still keeping the vibe of the original. ...

It seems Konami never understood what made Silent Hill special to begin with. They never understood the heart of it, so ever since they got rid of the real members of Team Silent, they've been making these poor imitations that lack any real substance.
To be honest, this was the most intriguing thing they showed in my opinion. Not sure if it looks great but at least it looks better than that Silent Hill 2 remake. This Silent Hill f looks very Japanese based though, not sure if it's just this trailer or that's the theme of the game. Also, they didn't say anything about what consoles it's for.

Silent Hill 2 is a masterpiece in my opinion. It's my 2nd favorite game of all time. ALL TIME! That's how highly I think of this game. Yet the footage of this remake already looks disappointing to me. First off James gives me a totally different vibe. He wasn't nearly that old in the original.
Overall, I'm just not feeling like graphic style and vibe. Maybe I need to see more, but it's a SH2 remake that looks not much different than the B level Silent Hi...
Square Enix themselves are calling it a remaster, but if you compare it side by side with the PSP version, you can probably tell the difference more clearly than most remakes. For example the Dead Space Remake which they did a side by side of not to long ago.
Still not sure what to make of the Switch selling so much. I think it's because it's part handheld also. Think about it, yes it's true the Switch has been very successful for Nintendo but isn't that because the gameboy and 3DS handhelds have disappeared?.. Nintendo Switch kind of absorbed the handheld market. I bet you most handheld gamers are getting their fix from Switch.
As a console alone, I don't think Switch can complete with Playstation and Xbox. ...

For some reason I never got into this series. I guess I didn't take it serious since the first one was just a downloadable game that looked like it was on rails, it was far from an AAA game. But now the sequel looks more legit, and the budget is a lot higher probably because of the success of the original.
Seems like a game I should like since I'm into The Last of Us and I'm usually a fan of games with strong female leads.
But at the same time, a lot of people want to keep it ended. And I can respect that also. It shows that Playstation franchises actually have an ending. We don't want it to be like Halo. Remember Halo 3 "Finish the Fight" and then the series continued with a new developer and the franchise lost a lot of fans. Halo today is kind of a shell of what it used to be.
I think they should continue the franchise, it's one of Playstation's most successful. The most obvious idea that everyone's thinking is that it should be continued by Nathan Drake's daughter.
What do you do when you get to that part where the world is like over and it's just you and that one girl and she's staring at you and talking to you the whole time. I just turned the game off because it went on forever. Is the game over at that point?

Sorry, I didn't really like this trailer. Made me feel like the game has no emotion and is all politics which didn't make any sense.
